Manny Avramidis

Manny Avramidis was appointed American Management Association International’s 18th President and Chief Executive Officer in June 2017.  

Manny joined AMA in 1998; he has since served as Chief Human Resources Officer and then Senior Vice President of U.S. Management Education, where he transformed AMA into a multi-modality learning institution. His responsibilities included leading faculty, product development and delivery, learning technologies, assessments, and consultative learning services. He refined AMA’s ability to meet ever-changing customer and industry demands by leading the development of best-in-class content. Further, Manny leveraged multiple delivery platforms, featuring a wide array of new digital, video and audio capabilities for the teaching, publishing and marketing components of AMA. Manny helped evolve AMA into a multifaceted professional education provider that delivers learning experiences in more than 80 countries. 

Prior to joining AMA, Manny was a Senior HR Generalist at Empire Insurance Group, with the responsibility of leading all aspects of Human Resources as well as designing and delivering executive development programs.

Manny holds a B.A. degree from William Paterson University, where he was a member of both The National and International Honor Societies. He is often quoted in newspapers and journals such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and HR Executive. Manny serves on several boards.

Manny resides in New Jersey with his wife and four children.
